You Need A Website, Even if it is a Personal Website

Are you ready to establish your presence on the world wide web? Do you think you don’t need one because you don’t have a business? Beautiful, having a website is so badass for so many reasons!

  1. Build credibility for who you are and where you are going
  2. Have a “professional” portfolio for what you are doing
  3. Have more control of how people search for you on the web

One of the reasons that I highly suggest having a website is to create a hub for you! You are your brand even if you are not selling anything. Who knows, you might start selling products or services, realizing how dope you are and that you have a voice that deserves to be heard.

Creating a personal portfolio/online resume is a great way to have recruiters find you. Sure you can have a resume but you have so much more to offer than the 1-2 pages of jobs that you have had. Showcase your skills and talents through blogging and other avenues.

Creating a website is not hard at all. Check out this post from Haute Hosting, a black and woman-owned company, to tell you the easy steps.

Website

All you need is a domain, hosting, and website builder. I use WordPress for this website and absolutely love it.

I am thinking about creating a personal website like CicelyRenee.Com to house all the services I provide.

Maybe you do want a website to blog or sell products, so what are you waiting for? Of course, there is a learning curve, but getting in there learning as you go is the best experience ever!

Just having a Facebook or Instagram won’t cut it. The website is your residency, it shows that you are serious about your brand.

Well if you need services, make sure you support Haute Hosting, a black and woman-owned company.

Happy Creating!
