The sweetest laughter bellows out of the bellies of many vibrating through the air. It pierces your heart and you have no other choice but to genuinely smile, putting on display your hearts joy.

Above me a little girl lives, yells, cries, runs and laughs. I get annoyed by all the noise and her parents yelling and fighting. But every once and awhile I would hear this intense belly laugh that would make my heart melt and I would forget about all the other noise she and her family makes. Her laughter is healing not just for her but for me as well.
Alone in my one bedroom apartment, it’s quiet and I wonder who do I talk to. It is the time for me though, solitude, time where reflection and realization are necessary. However when I hear her laugh I know the world is still beautiful and I have much to look forward to.

Laughing is such a sweet privilege and is taken for granted by many. People in this world are so angry where not even a smirk will grace their face. It’s a sad misfortune.

Laughter is a sweet gift and some struggle to obtain it. I remember visiting my diabetic aunt in the nursing home when I was a teen. She couldn’t  take care of herself and was on a lot of medication. This one time I remember hearing her talk to my mom and she was so excited, she said, “I can now laugh on my own” that is when I realized she needed medicine to help make her laugh. I felt sad that she couldn’t laugh prior to on her own. But as I remember her life to her death she was always laughing at something. I believe that helped her cope with her sickness and living situation.

I used to teach girl scouts to inner city girls and they were beyond crazy (smile) I believe it was the hormones and food. But these girls were amazing nonetheless. Some though took their selves and life too seriously where they couldn’t even participate in most of the activities. So one day to help break some of the tension and bring some positivity into the atmosphere I gave them a laughing challenge.

I said on the count of three I want everybody to laugh as loud and crazy as they can. We did this for about five minutes and they loosened up. They laughed at each others crazy laughs and they felt good.

I am recovering from a surgery and realized how much I love to laugh. My laughter causes pain and I’m like I cannot wait till I am fully healed. I know they say laughter is medicine and I believe it but this huge cut in my belly makes it unbearable 🙁 but I still get a chuckle in there every once in awhile despite the pain.

How do you know when a relationship is in trouble or even just a person? When the laughter stops.

Remember when you two laughed all the time, life was beautiful the world was yours. Now it’s constant nagging, complaining and sarcasm where you cannot stand being next to each other. I challenge you to find laughter and put it back into your daily lives.

If you are struggling to laugh genuinely from the belly and want this sweet gift back in your life, I want to help you. Inbox me and we can do this together.

If you are laughing with no issue comment with some advice to others.

Well laugh on Sweet Thang
