Best Black Business: And The Winner Is…

So this campaign was tons of fun! Connecting with people all over the country for one common goal, showing love to the black businesses. Thank you all for nominating, voting and sharing. We had a total of 18 nominations and many were nominated MANY times. There were a total of 1655 votes for the different businesses. Unfortunately, we can only choose one for the Bougie Black Blogger’s Best Black Business award! Be sure to check out all the nominees!

The winner will receive over $100 worth of gifts and services, here is what they will get:

  • Amazon Gift Card
  • Hour of Social Media Marketing Consultation ($45 value)
  • Two months advertising space on the Bougie Black Blogger site ($50 value)
  • Blog Feature Post ($25 value)

So let’s see who the winner is:

I was excited to check out the winner’s website when they got nominated. What they do is amazing for youth and adults. Providing classes on a lost skill made me fall in love.

Let’s give it up to:

Sew Fun Parties, located in Charlotte, NC where they educate clients on how to sew and design.
The person that nominated the business shared these words: This business has been around for some years, but recently taken over by black woman named Priscilla Davis. She has decades of experience with sewing and design. She also worked in education. She is excellent in teaching the art of sewing. So many people lack this skill and she seeks to make sure that the upcoming generation gets the skills and has fun through parties and camps. She also offers private lessons for all ages. This business is new to social media platforms and could really benefit from a buzz from this initiative.

Meet the owner and teacher:

Priscilla

TEACHING THE LOST ART OF SEWING AND DESIGN IN A FUN AND CREATIVE WAY.

Some of the projects that are done at the parties:

Congratulations to Priscilla at Sew Fun Parties. We are so glad you are in business doing what you love to do!

Also, to the nominees, congratulations to you as well! I am so grateful for your presence in the communities and world. I pray nothing but the best for you all.

Thank you all again for your part in this!

Peace and Blessings,
CicelyRenee
