9 Bloggers Explain: Why Bloggers Write

Bougie Black Blogger

On October 20th was National Writing Day and  I was too excited because obviously, I love to write. Hard lessons being learned as an adult though, “The World Does Not Revolve Around You!” #Onlychildissues

Well I decided to post a question in one of the groups I participate in, asking, Why Do You Blog? I got some really awesome answers and if you did not see the post this week on Blog Readers Code, you should go read it because it goes hand in hand.

Here are 9 reasons Why Bloggers Write:

  1. I write as a way to sort out my thoughts, connect with like minded people, and educate others as I grow and learn! Jacque. Jacque has some amazing post check her out on her blog JacqueAmadi
  2. I write to motivate, educate, and uplift people. I try to concentrate on giving sound [advice], authentic, and loving content. -Gwen. Find Gwen on her site- Ask Coach Gwen
  3. I write to educate, entertain and empower. Writing is like breathing to me. It brings me indescribable joy. – Cynthia at Urban Image Magazine
  4. I write/blog because it’s therapeutic. It’s a creative outlet for me to express my thoughts and opinions and communicate with other folks who share the same interests. My blog is my creative canvas, it allows me to paint pictures through the beautiful key strokes of my lovely MAC daddy (my computer, lol). I so love living the blog life! If I could blog everyday all day I would.- Jamaya. Check out Jamaya over at The Style Delegate.
  5. I write to express my inner feelings on a personal level. Even when I write to educate or inform, I want my voice to come through. If I help one life, my work on Earth would be complete.- Kimani. Visit Kimani’s site, V For Vadge
  6. I write to express myself and empower others! -Jelisa from Black Girl,Latin World make sure you check her out!
  7. Creative outlet- Faiza
  8. Blogging allows me to express myself creatively! -Secoya. Check out Secoya’s post at Simplistic Yet Complicated.
  9. I have always loved writing and it was a way to release the million thoughts in my mind. I want to be able to help others along the way by sharing some of the experiences that I have had in my life. – Hannah. You can find Hannah over at The Methodical Mom

So now that you understand why these awesome bloggers write, be sure to show your love to them by reading it, subscribing their site, commenting and sharing. If you haven’t yet read the Blog Readers Code be sure to check it out to see what to do!
