10 Kingdom Woman Habits For 2024

If you are anything like me, then this year has flown by but you are excited to start the new year! In the last blog post, I talked about the biblical meaning of the number 8, which meant new beginnings. If you add all the numbers for 2024, that equals 8. So yes to a new year, but also knowing that God is doing a new thing! It is the perfect time to implement Kingdom Woman Habits to elevate your spiritual life. When your spiritual life is elevated, everything else becomes elevated. Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek first his kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” So these habits will help you to keep your focus on the Kingdom…

10 Kindom Woman Habits for 2024

  1. Morning routine- Rushing, running late, and being frazzled need to be left in 2023! You might just have to wake up earlier and that is ok! Create a routine that helps with your spiritual life, mental clarity, stamina, and an attitude of gratitude! The Kingdom Woman starts her day with God and continues with Him all day!
  2. Hydrate Hydrate Hydrate- A majority of Americans are extremely dehydrated and because it has become the norm, you have no idea that you are dehydrated! Drinking more water will make you happier! It helps produce serotonin, that feel-good chemical! God wants us to be happy, and filled with His joy, and if our body isn’t working right, our mind is not focused on the Kingdom because we are stressed, then we cannot operate effectively.
  3. Eating to LIVE, not living to eat- Food is supposed to nourish our bodies, the foods we eat will fuel us or suck out our livelihood. Choosing the right foods will energize you, allowing you to be your best self as a Kingdom Woman
  4. Implement Transitions- Many of us are on autopilot and we are NOT robots! We need to end projects and activities with healthy mental transitions. Whether checking off your to-do list, taking 10-minute workout breaks between activities, setting timers, praying, reading a devotional, etc… BREAK UP YOUR DAY intentionally!
  5. Disconnect from the screen- No really do it, pick up your bible instead. Pick up some crayons and color. Our screen time should be at a minimum. It is a time, mental, and emotional leech sucking out the nutrients. Kingdom women have a job to do and if we are stuck on our phones, watching tv, binging shows, that don’t edify, then we are doing a disservice to us and the people that we are connected to.
  6. An attitude of gratitude- even for the smallest thing. When we realize that God doesn’t have to do the things He does for us, like giving us the air to breathe, activity in our limbs, and the beauty of His creation, gratitude for everything should always remain on our minds and in our hearts. When we have a grateful mindset and heart, then our roles as Kingdom Women can be so much more impactful.
  7. Well-rested- A kingdom woman knows the importance of quality rest. Running on E and exhaustion is something we are leaving in 2023 as well! A nighttime routine is necessary to refuel and reenergize! It should include prayer, reflection, and planning for the next day. Too many times I wake up stressed about the next day, thinking about all the things I have to do because I didn’t mentally release it before going to bed.
  8. Wisdom, Knowledge, and Understanding- We must continue learning! Learning shapes our thoughts and behaviors. Learning new skills, hobbies, and bible study is crucial for your development and also for those connected to you. I want to be a resourceful person so that people can come to me for support. Ourhttps://youtu.be/nAK1lZFrzFA?si=PmW0hx9vIxl2z8Bu resources will help build the Kingdom, but if we don’t know much we cannot contribute much!
  9. Declutter Daily- A cluttered space is a cluttered mind… Working, living, and doing is a challenge when everything is all out of wack! My creativity is stunted when there is a mess. Decluttering your home, your computer, etc will help things run more smoothly. I am not saying clean all day every day, just organize a bit here and there!
  10. Kindness HEALS- We have to be more kind to people, giving them grace, smiling, and not reacting. There are just so many unkind people for no reason. How do we give God glory as mean-spirited people? Kingdom women also should be more kind to themselves. We are all human and surviving in this world. Show yourself grace!
