One thing you can bet on when it comes to innovative business owners is that they constantly create new opportunities, expand their products/services, and always keep it hot and spicy! Whether they have jumped on TikTok to do the latest trend, collaborated with local business owners, or hosted amazing events, they will definitely be creative with it.
The innovative business owner is a visionary, they are passionate, and they are serious about their business. Take, for example, Bubba from Forrest Gump loved some shrimp and listed all the ways to prepare it “…shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey’s uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan-fried, deep-fried, stir-fried. There’s pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich…” Passionate and serious about that shrimp as he envisioned his business of catching shrimp.
That’s a silly example but you get what I am saying. You have to be creative with it!
So, I am assuming, since you are reading this that you are a business owner that is innovative or wants to become more innovative. Well, let’s chat.
3 Things Innovative Business Owners Do To Elevate their Business
- Blog- They are sharing tips and tricks, the latest styles, how-tos, and whatever their business delivers. They started a new service, so they have to blog about it. Get that SEO going on. Sharing information so that it is easily accessible to others. Having a blog brings way more visitors to your website. You are linking your product or services and this helps people STAY on your website. So, I just know you are blogging! Well, maybe not… if you need help, you can hire someone or get some guest bloggers to help you write. I am actually offering content writing services so if you are interested, click here for more information.
- Reflect and Make Plans- Daily, weekly, monthly quarterly this should be happening and if you are you might be only reflecting on the numbers and quantitative data. Many forget about the qualitative data, the stories, the lessons, the success stories, the whys behind it all. I remember having a class that made this woman break down and cry. It reminded me of my why, then I was like let’s do more of this so I created a series and it was beautiful. Sure we look at numbers, but there are other ways to grow. - Keep Learning- SkillShare is bae! I pay $99 a year to access a bazillion classes on everything. Here are a few of my favorites for business:
So if you are in a season of reevaluation, be sure to implement these tasks to help guide and motivate you so that you can take your business to the next level.
