Watch Me Bend, Not Break!- 3 “I Don’t Break” Life Hacks

Guest Blogger- Matr3moni

Life throws us so many curve balls along the way, you literally make a catcher’s mitt while you are playing the game. Crazy right? You are getting hit with things known and unknown but somehow you are facing it all and not breaking down into dust.

What I find truly amazing, is our abilities to bend through the trials, not letting them break us. Some people learn this early in life and others later, but we all must understand and conquer never breaking.

The trials that are intended to break us into pieces so small that no one can put them back together, are also the trials that stretch us, never to return to the same form again.

You can’t break someone who is able to bend and willing to do so without fear of injury. Here are 3 “I Don’t Break” Life Hacks that are sure to help you get your bending in check.

  1. You are not a pretzel. So what if you can bend, that doesn’t mean you let people try to break you.
  2.  Get Serious about your health. In order to be able to bend, you have to find healthy ways to get rig of the pent-up frustrations that are inevitable when dealing with others. (You know those days when they start acting stupid but you haven’t gotten your workout or coffee in yet so you’re not leveled out.)
  3. Bending doesn’t mean that you are going against any of your life principlesYou have to first commit to growing. Then you adjust accordingly as you go along building on your core principles. Growth it continuous and the journey can always reroute.

Don’t give others the power, to kick your weak spots. You control what you allow others to do to you. If you know being around a certain person(s) will make you have to compromise what you believe, then your only option is to stay from around them.

Never allow yourself to enter into situations where you may have to morph to appeal others and their ways of living. We are all here to live, but there are no rules that say you must harm yourself to do it.

You will be healthier once you know your worth and don’t break on your journey to match other people’s bend in their journey.

Keep your head held high, with your prayers and/or meditations higher. As you go back into the world you have been accustomed to, try the 3 “I Don’t Break” life hacks when you feel conflicted. It may start off hard, but you will be so much better in the end. Bless Up My Beautiful People and Jah Guide.
