Monday Motivations: Happiness Is…

Hey Sweet Thang,

Happy Monday!!!!

Reflecting…It was Saturday morning and the sun was shining in my bedroom. I stayed in my bed enjoying the cool breeze my loud fan was giving me. I enjoyed the calmness in the air and the peace in my heart. I was smiling and laughing and really reveling in that moment. I was happy. I eventually got up and was getting ready for my garage sale. I had to turn up the music. I began to dance around the house and was on top of the world! I was loving being with me! I was feeling good!

I was so on cloud 9 and wanted to know what makes others happy. I posted, “Finish the sentence: Happiness is…” and received a LOT of responses. Over 40 and I want to share some with you.

  1. Saturday mornings waking up to mint condition
  2. Living the life you love; loving the life you live
  3. a choice and a journey, not a destination
  4. My daughter!!
  5. Eating mnms !!
  6. All of the above + cheese cake and Moscato
  7. Happiness is cinnabon!! Does anyone know what I’m talking about? Anyway happiness is also love, good sex, happiness is that thing you finished what seemed really hard to do almost impossible but you did it that’s happiness. Happiness is when ppl say ‘ you can’t do this your to stupid’ and you do it and show I to there face. And so I got a hole list of what happiness is.
  8. Happiness is letting god lead your pathway !!!
  9. foooooooooooooodddddddd
  10. GRATITUDE!!! You cannot be unhappy and truly grateful at the same time. Happiness collage

Things that make me happy is being a part of this Facebook group (I do not know if I want to share, I am selfish like that). Nothing is better than having people being supportive and encouraging of others dreams. I have never experienced such a thing. That last one hit it on the head, “GRATITUDE” and I wanted to dedicate this post to the group! I pray that all of you reach your definition of success and you continue to do things that make you happy.

I realized that people are not put on earth to make you happy but some will and you enjoy that. If they do not make you happy (because that is NOT their job) then you need to rearrange some people. You do not deserve for others to make you unhappy. I have learned that hurting people hurt people despite all the love you show them and everything you have done for them they may still hurt you.

My suggestion to you is to find people that are supportive of your dreams whether you know them or not. Also, join a positive group that will inspire you to be the best you that you can be. Lastly, DO THE THINGS YOU LOVE… especially if it makes your surroundings better.

My challenge to you is to find something that makes you happy and share your joy creativity with others! Be sure to share with me and tag me if you do! Add me on Instagram, twitter, facebook or here! I want to see
